London Transport Diesel Locomotive 83, built in 1967 and operated by London Transport at the Lillie Bridge Depot in West Kensington from 1971 to 1989. It has a Rolls Royce supercharged 8 cylinder diesel engine and a Wilson Self Changing Gearbox similar to the Routemaster bus.

The engine is owned by the Iron and Steel Group at Nene Valley Railway. It is likely soon to be repainted to the livery it had when operated at Corby Quarry from 1967 to 1971.
